Facts, Opinions and Primary/Secondary Research Definitions

For me, the definition of 'fact' is - 'Something that someone believes to be the truth based on a opinion or information'. I think that the definition of 'opinion' is - 'Someone's point of view on something.' An example of a fact is that 'all of my subject teachers are male'. An example of an opinion is 'pasta tastes nice'.

Primary research is 'Information that you get yourself for the original source' where as secondary research is 'Research from a source that has found the information out.' An example of primary research is 'Nathan has pets.' An example of secondary research is 'A cat called Humphrey was once employed at 10 Downing Street.'
